Housekeeper
Reporting to: Head Housekeeper
Working pattern:
· Usually between 9.00am & 2.00pm, according to the needs of the business
· Rota over a full seven day week to include regular weekend working
· Contracted hours – average 16hrs pw over the year with additional as required
Scope:
· All cleaning to a high standard with minimal disruption to guests
· Highest standards to be achieved measured by room checks by head housekeeper and general manager
· Cleaning within timescales as set by the head housekeeper
· Full deep cleaning as directed
· Laundry and linen
Areas of responsibility:
· As directed by the head housekeeper to include:
· All buildings, sheds and property
· Hotel bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, reception rooms and other areas
· Hotel entrance steps and terrace
Salary:
· According to experience, reviewed annually
· Initially on short term contract to review performance
Holidays:
· 28 days pro rata to contracted hours
· Bank holidays are normal working days
