The Chippenham Folk Festival is always great fun as is the Salisbury
Festival, the Salisbury International Arts Festival and the Salisbury
Food and Drink Festival. Then there’s the Marlborough Jazz Weekend and
Opera at Lacock Abbey. Nearby Bath has a wonderful wealth of festivals
throughout the year.
There are the ever popular Wincanton Races at nearby Wincanton. We have
a Wincanton Races Break for those who are traveling from afar. If
you’re seeking bigger thrills, then you might like to spend a day at
Castle Combe Motor Racing Circuit driving a racing car round this
famous race track. You could even take advantage of the Castle Combe
Motor Racing Break here at Beechfield House. We can organize for you

For the truly energetic (and mad) remember you’re only an hour from the
Brecon Beacons across the River Severn, where you’ll find many ways of
maiming yourself and your loved ones by interacting with mountains,
quicksands, rapids, etc. Picnic lunches and maps can be provided, but
not First Aid!
