Bath Comedy Festival
This is when you’re bound to find something to make you laugh. The comedy festival is all over Bath and includes street theatre, mime, stand-up comedy, and there’ll be cartoons and even silent movies showing. Most enjoyable is simply to wander around Bath and laughing at what you find.

Badminton Horse Trials
One of the toughest and most thrilling equestrian events in the world. Over the four days, competitors must complete a dressage test (obedience, discipline, accuracy and elegance), a timed four mile cross country course jumping several testing jumps and obstacles and a show jumping event.

Bath Dance Festival
Dance shows and cabarets, street performances and dance workshops. There are also plenty of opportunities to join in the dancing. Pop over to Abbey Square where taster dance classes as well as local dance groups will be performing.

Bath Spring Flower Show
This is one of the major events of the south west gardening calendar and there’s far more to enjoy than, for instance the amazing Floral Art Marquee. You’ll find the Bath Beekeepers are there. There’s a British Food and Farming marquee and there are cookery demonstrations. There’s even a children’s activity marquee and there’s plenty of entertainment.

Chippenham Folk Festival
This wonderful folk festival originally started in nearby Lacock, now better known for its opera festival. However, it still retains much of its original village atmosphere. There are three and half days of song, dance, folk workshops and dance displays.
