Particularly popular with families with slightly older children are our family rooms that can accommodate up to five guests with additional folding beds; unusual amongst luxury family hotels. Alternatively, families can choose the Chestnut and Oak suite that comprises two lovely interconnecting rooms, one with a balcony overlooking the walled garden. Children delight in having their own hotel room and these rooms give parents that extra bit of privacy.

The swimming pool is always a popular attraction for older children as well as younger children accompanied by their parents. The pool, conveniently located in the walled garden and overlooked by the hotel, is open from late March to November and heated to an average 86F. We usually plan to open the pool by the Easter holidays and keep it open until after the Michaelmas half term holiday - please check with reception for up to date details.
Cots and high chairs are available and should be requested at the time of booking. Families with children are welcome to dine in the restaurant and chef has created a special, healthy and popular Children’s Menu. A separate dining room for younger children may be available at busier times.
