Its history dates back to 1878 when it was built for a local gentleman farmer, Richard Keevil, whose initials still adorn one of the bay windows. It served as an exceptional family home for ninety years until its conversion to a hotel in the 1960s. Since then it has delighted guests with vast grounds to wander, period features to marvel at, a rich local historical legacy to immerse in, and green countryside in every direction – the perfect escape.
